Hotel maintenance professionals are responsible for keeping a hotel’s facilities, systems, and guest areas in safe, functional, and attractive condition. They perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to guest and staff requests, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Hotel maintenance staff or technicians maintain and repair hotel equipment and facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and outdoor areas. They work to ensure guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction while supporting smooth daily operations

Requirements:

Responsibilities

  • Respond to work orders: Address guest and staff requests for repairs or maintenance promptly
  • Routine inspections: Check for safety hazards, leaks, electrical faults, and equipment wear
  • HVAC maintenance: Repair and maintain air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems
  • Plumbing repairs: Fix leaks, unclog drains, replace fixtures, and maintain water systems
