Job description

This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence-Intelligence Analysis, Office of Counterintelligence (OCI). As an Intelligence Operations Specialist, you will function as a counterintelligence (CI) officer, providing CI cyber expertise to OCI assessments, operations, and investigations.Qualifications:You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
  • Conducting research, evaluating collection, and performing analysis on cyber intelligence topics; AND
  • Applying cyber counterintelligence (CI) regulations, policies and programs; AND
  • Providing research and evaluation on cyber-derived intelligence information to determine the operational capabilities and effectiveness of foreign intelligence entities.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
  • Conducting research, evaluating collection, and performing analysis on cyber intelligence topics; AND
  • Applying cyber counterintelligence (CI) regulations, policies and programs.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
