Description
The Financial Literacy Center, located in Union Room 128 A4 (inside the Success Advising Center), helps students take control of their finances through one-on-one coaching, workshops, and educational resources. We're looking for motivated, compassionate students to join our team as Peer Financial Coaches. If you're passionate about helping others and want to grow your financial confidence while empowering your peers, we'd love to have you on our team!
Examples of Duties
Duties Include:
  • Work one-on-one with fellow students to provide guidance on: Budgeting and saving, Navigating financial aid and the FAFSA, Understanding interest rates and loan terms, Building and maintaining healthy credit
  • Answering basic tax-related questions
  • Connecting students with campus resources (scholarship/job tools, etc.)
  • Supporting mini-grant recipients
  • Help students build confidence and reduce stress around money
  • Promote financial literacy events and workshops on campus

Special Instructions:
