Join the Insurance Financial Regulation team and obtain your Accredited Financial Examiner (AFE) and Certified Financial Examiner (CFE) designations. We are seeking individuals with financial audit or financial statement analysis experience to conduct thorough examinations and/or analyses of insurance companies to ensure compliance of financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position:
  • Analyze, summarize and review data; report findings, interpret results and make recommendations.
  • Write or draft correspondence, reports, documents and/or other written material.
  • Gather documentation to support negotiated resolution of non-compliance issues.
  • Conduct financial analysis of various insurance companies to determine significant solvency risks of the insurer through analysis and examination procedures. Make recommendations for regulatory action when appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance of applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience performing analysis of financial statements or conducting financial audits.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
  • Working knowledge of insurance industry.
