Job description

 

The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial and accounting well-being of the Englewood Campus. 

 

The Finance Manager works closely with the Head of School and makes sure the finance and the cash flow help sustain the overall growth of the school.
The Finance Manager will report to the School Board.

 

Responsibilities


 

1- Billings

  • Tuition
  • Before & After Care 
  • Enrichment, camps billings
  • Afterschool and private classes billings 
 

2- A/R 

  • Monitor A/R every week / Follow up with FACTS
  • Communication and follow up with families
     

3- A/P

  • Post bills in Quickbooks 
  • Pay vendor/contractor bills within 30 days 
  • Work closely with Jeremie
 

4- Cash Flow, Bank and Petty cash

  • Monitor daily the cash flow
  • Reconcile Wells Fargo and Amex accounts 
 

5- Payroll and Benefits

  • Supervise the hours given by Jeremie allowing a double check
  • Process the payroll with EsmerPS (Platinum, Isolved)
  • Process 401K with John Hancock, prepare documentation for 401K Audit
  • Administer Health Insurance plan

 

6- Follow Up and monitor the yearly budget / Analyze discrepancies

 

7- Insurance Workers Compensation Renewal and Audit

 

8- Yearly non-profit audit & tax return with Tait Weller

 

9- Preparing & attending Monthly Board Meetings

 

10- Preparing and managing Finance Committee and all financial aid applications

 

11- Liaison with French Consulate and AEFE (payment of French scholarship)

 

12- Follow up dashboard (Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, P&L YTD, Budget usage)

 

13- FAA TC billing and accounting

 

14- Fundraising - Participation to all events and monitoring budgets of these events
