Job Description

As a Maintenance Tech Scholar at Sealed Air, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting advanced machinery and equipment. This role is designed for candidates who are passionate about mechatronics and are eager to apply their knowledge in a real-world manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
2. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
3. Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
5. Document maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment manuals.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
7. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge in mechatronics.

Qualifications

1. Currently enrolled in a Mechatronics program or similar technical field.
2. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
3. Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
