In this position, you will serve as an experienced Logistics Management Specialist with responsibility for performing work that involves planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support a specified mission or other designated program and the execution of these programs in support of day-to-day and disaster operations.Qualifications:

To qualify for this Logistics Management Specialist position at the IC-11 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-9 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following:

1. Evaluating logistics management activities or processes and making recommendations for changes to improve overall program efficiency; and,
2. Tracking, coordinating, or analyzing resource allocation procedures (such as manpower, programming, budgeting, or distribution methods) to optimize program performance; and,
3. Conveying policy and program concepts to stakeholders in order to build cooperation and resolve agency issues.
