Cornerstone Caregiving
Compensation: $19.00–$40.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Opportunities
Location: Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA 92130
DESCRIPTION
Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Persian/Farsi-speaking caregiver to provide in-home care for a senior client in the Carmel Valley (92130) area.
Fluency in Persian/Farsi is highly preferred to help provide comfortable and effective communication with the client.
Responsibilities
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and transfers as needed
• Prepare meals and encourage hydration
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
• Observe and report any changes in the client's condition
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
Qualifications
• Must be able to communicate effectively in Persian/Farsi
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Negative TB test or willingness to complete required testing
