Position Summary

The Parking Porter performs a number of custodial functions as well as light mechanical maintenance to ensure the appearance and cleanliness of the facility contribute to the overall atmosphere and experience of all employees and customers.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $19.00 - $21.00. 

Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. 

This job will remain open until November 6, 2026

Responsibilities
  • Regular site housekeeping and unsafe hazard inspections.
  • Takes corrective action to address any conditions that are not acceptable.
  • Changes light bulbs as appropriate.
  • Responds immediately to any spills.
  • Empties trash receptacles.
  • Performs light mechanical maintenance.
  • Sweeping, mopping, moving various items, and shoveling snow.
  • Reports safety hazards and larger maintenance problems to a Supervisor.
  • Cleans hanging signs and dusts overhead pipes.
  • Maintains and reports inventory of supplies to Supervisor.
  • Completes the Employee Daily Checklist and addresses unsatisfactory remarks.
  • All other duties as may be assigned based on operational needs.
Qualifications
  • Previous hazardous materials training, janitorial, and light maintenance work history are preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Comfortable working in inclement weather.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Ability to understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and complete reports.
  • Ability to perform a significant amount of physical activity, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, moving various items, and shoveling snow.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects.
