Job description

Join our Team! Bishop is looking for part-time evening custodians with flexible hours. Work at your own pace and work as much or as little as you'd like. Weekly pay.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • 18 years of age
  • Able to lift occasionally up to 40 pounds
  • Have a personal smart phone with data usage capability

Qualifications
  • Motivated and dependable individual who can work alone or with a group in a minimally supervised environment.
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Prior cleaning experience is a plus
  • Ability to use mobile apps (applications)

Responsibilities
  • Custodial staff members are responsible for providing cleaning services for medical buildings, offices, or light industrial facilities according to cleaning specs of each building
  • Cleaning responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
    • Collect trash and replace trash can liners
    • Clean, sanitize and supply restrooms
    • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
    • Wipe windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
    • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Dust and clean overhead vent
  • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the custodian's closet
  • Communicate with supervisor to ensure cleaning quality and customer service
  • Follow all safety guidelines
  • Follow proper procedures in the use of cleaning solutions, equipment and tools according to specifications.
  • Report any abnormal activities or conditions to management
  • Ensure all chemicals and equipment needed are available and in working order
  • Record your arrival/departure times, and communicate on company app using your personal smartphone

Hours: Part-time Evening
Compensation: $10-$14/hr. Custodians are paid per building. An average experienced custodian makes $13/hr.
