Job description

Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia


Job Details:

  • Provide independent anesthesia coverage at an Endoscopy Center supporting the department during a period of short staffing

  • Work independently in a dedicated endoscopy setting providing MAC (Monitored Anesthesia Care) anesthesia

  • Manage 10-16 cases per day with an 8-hour guarantee from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • Part-time or full-time coverage available with a minimum of 3+ days per week

  • Long-term ongoing need with no call responsibilities and no weekend requirements

  • No trauma designation and no pain management cases

  • Patient age demographic includes adult and geriatric populations

  • Procedures required include endoscopy cases, EGD with biopsies, colonoscopy with biopsies, combined EGD/colonoscopy, and CRNA solo cases

  • Documentation system/EMR: EPIC

  • Board Certification in AANA required

  • Active Michigan State Medical License required

  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

  • Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred

  • Copy of NPDB self-query required at presentation (pulled within 30 days)
