The Role:

As a Part Time Finance & Accounting Associate, you will report to the Finance Manager and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our finance function. This is a hands-on, entry-level role ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in both accounting and financial operations within a fast-growing company.

You’ll work across a variety of responsibilities, from financial reporting to payroll support, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to grow their career alongside a scaling business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support day-to-day accounting operations, including managing invoices, bills, journal entries, and payments in Xero, Float and Stripe.
  • Lead the preparation of month end accrual schedules and entries
  • Create and maintain financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including departmental budget-to-actual updates
  • Assist with payroll processes, including running payroll cycles, calculating commissions and benefits, and processing reimbursements.
  • Help maintain and improve finance and accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success and HR, to support business operations and financial initiatives.
  • Contribute to ad hoc analysis and special projects as the company grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or related role.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfortable working with data.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • A proactive, “roll up your sleeves” mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
