The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and wide variety of Slots and Table Games. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Perform all opening, side work, and closing duties
  • Be knowledgeable of all menu items, ingredients, preparation methods
  • Deliver quality food to guests and communicate frequently with both Front of House and Back of House team members
  • Ensure guest satisfaction with food quality and presentation
  • Ensure all food and beverages are served promptly, garnished correctly, and meet the J Resort standard of excellence
  • Demonstrate a guest-first mindset by placing a high priority on the guest experience
  • Effectively communicate with our guests and other Team Members
  • Stay calm under pressure and demonstrate problem-solving skill
  • Checks identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol and follows the Nevada Alcohol Awareness Procedures and The J Resort Company Policies
  • Keep all surfaces, equipment, and floors free of food and debris

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
  • Must have an understanding of English
