Class Description
The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality mentoring and student support services to participants in theStrategic Student Initiatives (SSI).
Minimum Requirements
An associate's degree with three years or a bachelor's degree with one year of successful experience working with mentoring programs and/or case management are required. Demonstrated success working with student populations. Must have experience working with adult learners, providing mentoring, case management, and other support services
Positions located on the Essex & Catonsville campusesThis is a Part Time (19.5 hours per week) on -site position.
Class Specific Essential Duties
  1. Mentor students by providing guidance, acting as a role model, and offering support to help them build academic skills, navigate challenges, and complete CCBC.
  2. Maintain a caseload of program participants by maintaining confidential student records and electronic files.
  3. Enhance student engagement by facilitating and coordinating programming that aligns with SSI's goals and foundational pillars.
  4. Monitor the academic and educational progress of program participants.
  5. Oversee the collection of quantitative and qualitative educational data related to program goals and objectives.
