We're looking for a compassionate and committed Part-time Engagement Coach to guide youth in both academic and workforce development activities. In this role, you'll help create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where youth can build skills, confidence, and a path to a brighter future. If you're passionate about youth development and thrive in a hands-on, mission-driven environment, this may be the opportunity for you.
Schedule: Every Saturday (8:30am - 4:30pm)
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Build strong, advisory relationships with youth while guiding them through academic and/or workforce development programming.
  • Support youth in making positive behavior choices using the AMIkids Way and Personal Growth Model.
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of youth in accordance with all operational and contractual guidelines.
  • Use a hands-on approach for one-on-one or small group tutoring and academic guidance.
  • Lead advisory sessions and track youth progress toward educational and behavioral goals.
  • Help youth develop personal responsibility, social and life skills, and job readiness.
  • Collaborate with parents/guardians to support youth engagement and remove obstacles to success.
  • Maintain accurate youth records and utilize instructional resources effectively.
  • Participate in field trips, special activities, and community events.
  • Attend required training and maintain certifications in First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years' experience working with middle or high school-aged youth.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Passion for working with youth and helping them succeed in school, life, and work.
