Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department 

PRN Position

Job Summary:

  • You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
  • You will perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse (RN)
  • You will assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team.
  • You will teach patients and families to understand conditions, medications and self-care skills.

Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 
  • Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Kentucky 
  • Current BCLS and ACLS upon hire
  • Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians, and other employees
