Overview

Select Physical Therapy is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic Part-time Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team supporting a fast-paced airport hub at Sea-Tac Airport in  SeaTac, WA. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, PTA, COTA, or individual of a similar background. We'll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. 

This dynamic role integrates ergonomics, employee education and coaching, preventive exercise programs, early intervention strategies, and health and wellness services to reduce workplace injuries and enhance overall employee well-being.

Position: Injury Prevention Specialist

Location: 17801 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98158

Type of Employment: Part-time

Schedule: Weekdays/Weekends, hours vary

Compensation:  $38.50 - $40.00, hourly, based on years of experience

Responsibilities

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits
  • Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs
  • Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention
  • Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury
  • Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees
  • Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
  • Healthcare experience
  • CPR certification
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an industrial setting
