Grundy Center Family Medicine & Express Clinic
Schedule: Part-Time | 24 Hours per Week | Wednesday-Friday 3p-8p, & Saturday 8a-4p
Join a clinic team where every interaction matters. As a Clinical Care Attendant, you'll play an important role in creating a positive patient experience by supporting both front-office and clinical workflows in our Family Medicine and Express Clinic settings.
In this role, you'll work closely with providers and fellow care team members to help patients feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported throughout their visit. Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients, assist with check-in/check-out, and help create a positive clinic experience
  • Room patients, collect health history, obtain vital signs, and document information accurately in the medical record
  • Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care within scope of training and licensure
  • Perform lab-related tasks and support symptom-based clinical workflows as directed
  • Review care instructions and help patients understand next steps after their visit
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, pharmacies, and care team members
  • Complete follow-up calls and help relay test results as directed by providers
  • Maintain exam room readiness, stock supplies, and support infection prevention and safety standards
  • Support daily clinic operations while helping ensure efficient patient flow and quality care

Qualifications
Education:
  • Completion of EMT or Paramedic Course

License(s)/Certifications(s):
  • EMT/AEMT/Paramedic certification
