Job description

PacArctic, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Part-time Custodian on our second shift to support PAC and our government customer in Williamsburg, KY. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This is a union position.
This position is responsible for assisting in keeping the facility clean and orderly throughout the shift and requires attention to safety at all times for all employees.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Our custodial staff is responsible for keeping an office building clean and orderly. Job duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Cleaning of entrances, lobbies, corridors, offices, conference rooms, work areas, floor surfaces, restrooms, locker rooms, shower stalls, water fountains, utility sinks, etc.
  • Maintain the appearance of exterior grounds, parking lots, loading docks, and sidewalks
  • Emptying wastebaskets/ and trash receptacles
  • Dusting of high and low surfaces, including overhead lights and pictures, and using cleaning products to clean or polish soiled surfaces
  • Vacuuming carpets and light spot removal duties
  • Washing windows and glass cleaning
  • Capable of performing heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, and washing walls

Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 25-50lbs.
  • Prefer high school diploma or GED and 0-2 years' experience.
  • Work well with our cooperative and motivated cleaning staff
  • Follow detailed cleaning instructions and learn troubleshooting skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Capable of working with a team or independently to achieve departmental goals, including multitasking skills
  • Must be available to work second shift 5:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Must be available for occasional weekend work
  • Part-time night shifts available
  • Must be dependable, hardworking, conscientious, and cooperative
