Work Schedule:

Weekend call in a rotation required.

One for 7:30am to 6:00pm weekend call rotation every 6 weeks covering Memorial-Marlton-Voorhees location for LTM only.

One for 7:30am to 6:00pm onsite Monday and Friday required every 4 weeks Memorial location.

Summary:
The neurology technologist is responsible for providing various adult electroencephalogram studies (routine, sleep deprived, LTM,) as ordered by a physician.
This individual (if registered) will provide clinical oversight for non-registered technicians performing EEG procedures.
In addition, this individual will act as a super-user/system administrator for the NATUS digital EEG system and long-term EEG monitoring systems.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs various types of electroencephalogram studies.
Obtains patient history from medical record, documents information in digital EEG system. Ensures patient orders and charges are correct and appropriate.
Maintains the digital EEG and long-term monitoring systems. Clips long-term monitoring studies to reduce required server space.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Requirement

Clinical Routine-LTM EEG experience preferred.
Knowledge of NATUS EEG systems preferred.

Knowledge of EPIC Preferred
Required Education:
High school education.
College education preferred.
R.EEG.TRegistry exam eligibility via ABRET Pathway required.
EEG registry required within one year of employment.
Training/Certifications/Licensure:
BLS.
EEG registry required within one year of hire.
