Job Description
CSN is seeking part-time instructors to teach Economics courses through the CSN Jumpstart Program at a Clark County School District (CCSD) high school. Teaching assignments will include college-level Economics courses delivered through the Jumpstart Program.
Core Responsibilities
  • Prepare lectures and course materials.
  • Develop exams, quizzes, and other assessment activities.
  • Evaluate student learning and mastery of course outcomes.
  • Participate in course and program assessment activities for accreditation and other purposes.

Required Qualifications
  • Applicants must be pre-approved by the social sciences department and the Jumpstart Program before submitting an application in Workday.
  • Must have at least a Master's degree in economics from a regionally accredited college or university and at least 18 graduate credits in the subject being taught (from a regionally accredited college or university).

Salary
$1,000.00 per class, per semester. Courses/Credits assigned may vary by semester.
