In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to site needs, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, restricted zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions for restricted areas, and follow post orders related to weapons handling, reporting, and escalation procedures.
  • Support Allied Universal and site leadership with detailed incident reports, shift activity logs, and/or communication regarding policy concerns, operational disruptions, and potential security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
