As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driving Position in Milwaukee, WI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicle staging areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel or public agencies as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas to help deter unauthorized entry, prohibited conduct, and property damage.
• Document incidents, patrols, observations, and interactions accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License Required 
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
