Glendora Music and Arts School is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Violin Teacher who is interested in part time work. We are Glendora's premier choice for music lessons and have over 475 students registered with us. We care about our employees and make sure that your agenda is full on the days that you come in, that way you are not driving to work to teach a 30 minute lesson only.
We are looking for multiple teaching ability instructor who can teach various instruments such as guitar, piano, drums, voice etc. All of our students are beginners so we don't require an advance level of teaching, only on the instrument you specialize in!
We will consider those who have:
  • A college degree in music or ability to play their instrument at the professional level.
  • Availability to teach private music lessons on 1-3 days on a weekly ongoing basis.
  • Our business hours are: Monday-Friday 2-8pm, Sat 9am-330 PM
  • Availability to teach group classes as necessary periodically on weekends
  • Prior music teaching experience.
  • The ability to work with a variety of ages and levels, with young children a plus.
  • Strong soft skills such as possessing friendly communication skills and comfortable speaking to parents to debrief after each lesson.
  • Excellent attendance and ability to be on time. If you need to miss teaching days often (due to gigs or tours), this position is not for you.
  • The ability to consider this as a medium or long-term position. If you are looking for a short-term or temporary job, this position is not for you.
  • Legal status to work in the US.
