As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Lobby in Lakeland, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor lobby and reception area activity, greet arriving guests, verify identification and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
• Answer phones, manage visitor check-in processes, issue temporary access credentials when required, and maintain accurate front desk logs and reports related to security-related activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Support a professional presence at a financial institution location by observing front desk activity, reporting concerns, and following post orders and security-related policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
