Job description

PAID INTERNSHIP: Beginning of May 2026 through End of September 2026
Hours: Friday–Monday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We’re a small, family-run dog facility looking for a motivated and dependable team member to join us for the season. This is a hands-on mentorship and internship opportunity — perfect for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of dog behavior, pack management, and small business operations in the animal care industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and apply dog behavior and handling skills

  • Supervise and manage groups of dogs safely and confidently

  • Maintain and reinforce training skills with consistency

  • Conduct dog pool parties and swim lessons

  • Assist with cleaning, grooming, and general animal care

  • Communicate with clients professionally and clearly

  • Help with scheduling, vaccination record maintenance, and other administrative tasks

  • (After 90 days of experience) Potential to transport dogs to/from the facility and assist in managing operations during owner travel

Requirements:
