Start Date: September 8, 2026
Children: 2 awesome kids (Ages 11 & 7)
Schedule: Schedule: Part-Time | Monday – Thursday Mornings: 7:00 AM – ~9:00 AM Afternoons: ~4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Occasional Friday mornings, early starts, late departures, or overnight coverage when parents travel for work.
Salary: $24 – $28/hour (depending on experience)
Description: 
What a Typical Day Looks Like:
Morning Routine (7:00 AM – ~9:00 AM)
  • Kid Prep: Help get the kids up, fed, teeth brushed, and out the door on time.
  • School Drop-off: Drive the youngest to school.
  • Home Reset: Head back to the house to load/unload the dishwasher, make beds, and give the family dog a little love.
Afternoon Routine (~4:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
  • School Pick-up & Transit: Drive the kids home or shuttle them to afternoon sports and extracurriculars (hockey, soccer, etc.).
  • Transition & Dinner: Help them unwind from school, prepare meals/snacks, and keep them on track for the evening.
  • Active Time & Screen Management: Encourage physical activity and enrichment over screen time (and manage daily screen limits when applicable).
Meet the Household:
  • The Parents: Two well-educated, busy professionals who value structure, respect, and open communication.
  • The Kids: Active, engaged, and learning to navigate school and sports.
  • The Dog: A sweet 13.5-year-old Springer Spaniel! He sleeps most of the day, loves attention, and takes his job as household protector (barking at the yard) very seriously. Daily care includes a short walk or backyard time.

  • Local Resident: Living relatively close to Eagan is ideal for managing local MN weather and split shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving kids to/from school and extracurriculars (valid driver's license, clean driving record & reliable transport required)
  • Preparing children's meals and snacks
  • Light housekeeping (dishwashing, bedding, general tidying)
