The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. seeks a Software Developer Sr. in Farmers Branch, TX. Participate in all aspects of PNC's Automation and Platform Technology Group activities. Specific duties include: (1) develop REST services using Onion architecture/Message Queue Architecture/Orchestration architecture and WEB APIs; (2) create connections with back-end third party webservices using mutual authentication and set up Docker images and configurations to build/deploy the services to cloud based (OpenShift Cloud) platform; (3) create Apis to call other REST services using HTTP Service Modeland to call OneSpan, Confluent Kafka REST services to leverage E-Signature and Kafka services; (4) provide solutions for new implementation within the architecture in the best possible way; (5) use Apigee for Authentication for the REST services and set up Products for each BIAN domain; (6) prepare Technical Design document for the interfaces as per the requirements; (7) design WSDLs, XSDs, Message sets and Message Flows, develop the message flows using ESQL and IIB nodes, and develop Common Functions, Procedures & Services to enhance the code reusability in Broker and unit test the interfaces; (8) lead the developers, train and knowledge share in the team, and interact with stake holders to set up secure connections to back-end third party servers using mutual authentication; (9) maintain the code in Repository management like SVN/GIT and manage the deployment of the developed interfaces to UAT servers using Jenkins/Udeploy continuous integration; and (10) work with Quality Engineering (QE) team for testing of interfaces and to resolve defects during testing cycles.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CIS, MIS, Computer Science, or Information Technology plus 3 years of software development experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using Agile methodology in or for the financial services industry is required. Must have experience with: (1) design and development of software using Java and Python programming language; (2) software development and maintenance on Linux and windows platform; (3) design and development of BOTs using Automation Anywhere (RPA) tool; (4) cybersecurity driven software development and bug fixes to tackle vulnerabilities; (5) software development using Squish, Django and QFaaS and automation of workflows; (6) Virtual Assistant development using Kore.AI and Automation of workflows using Java and Python; (7) code analysis to identify and improve performance bottlenecks and contingencies; (8) SDLC tools including IntelliJ, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Automation Anywhere, GIT, Perforce, Swarm, Jenkins, SonarQube, Bullseye, JIRA, Code collaborator, Coverity, SQL Developer and Toad; (9) monitoring and troubleshooting of CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins; and (10) mentoring team members, assisting with document and code reviews.
