Job description

Nurse Practitioner – Veteran Medical Assessments

Flexible Weekday Schedule | Evaluation-Only Role
The IMA Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support our Veteran disability evaluation program. In this role, you’ll complete structured medical assessments that contribute to the benefits review process—without the demands of ongoing patient care or treatment management.
 
Schedule Options:
  • 3–5 weekday shifts available
  • 8-hour daytime schedules
  • No evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
Role Overview:
  • Perform focused, in-person medical evaluations for Veteran claimants
  • Review medical histories and supporting documentation
  • Document findings and functional impact in clear, concise reports
  • Submit completed evaluations through a streamlined electronic system
Qualifications:
  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
  • Master’s degree in Nursing
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred
  • Backgrounds such as primary care, urgent care, internal medicine, emergency medicine, orthopedics, or rehabilitation are a plus
