The opportunity

Patina Group, a division of Delaware North, is seeking an Event Sales Manager to join our team at Monsieur Dior by Dominique Crenn in Beverly Hills, California. In this role, you will develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives that drive revenue growth while delivering a high-touch client experience. From initial inquiry through event execution, you will cultivate meaningful client relationships, coordinate exceptional events, and help bring the Monsieur Dior experience and Chef Dominique Crenn's vision to life.

The pay range listed below is the base salary for this position. This role is also eligible for 4% uncapped F&B commission.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $73,700 - $80,000 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
  • Partner with leaders, clients, culinary team and brand partners to plan and execute exceptional events that meet guests’ requirements
  • Meet with new and existing clients, review event spaces, event details, and produce event contracts.
  • Handle guest relations pre- and post-event, ensuring quality assurance standards are exceeded throughout the client journey.
  • Use professional sales techniques to negotiate the best possible terms and conditions that satisfy customer (internal and external) requirements.
  • Coordinate with operations managers to organize necessary banquet, kitchen, and service staff and arrangements for each event.
  • Develop quarterly action plans highlighting how you leverage your market to achieve the property’s financial plans
  • Occasional nights and weekends required based on event needs and clientele
More about you
  • A minimum of 3 years' catering sales experience in a full service, luxury restaurant, hotel, or other food and beverage unit with a similar capacity and clientele.
  • Excellent knowledge of food, wine, and spirits.
  • High-level understanding and expertise in the sales process.
  • Excellent work habits and organizational skills to conduct detailed follow-through with clients and catering staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
