WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • The Janitorial Technician plays an essential role in ensuring that L2 Aviation’s facilities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. Under minimal supervision, this position performs janitorial, housekeeping, and facility maintenance tasks to support daily operations and uphold the standards set by the executive team. You will:
    • Vacuum, sweep, and mop flooring in office, shop, and common areas.
    • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
    • Clean break rooms, including countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, and sinks.
    • Restock supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
    • Empty trash cans, replace liners, and clean receptacles as needed.
    • Dust and clean desks and furniture that are free of personal items.
    • Clean windows, windowsills, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
    • Maintain janitorial closets in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
    • Maintain janitorial equipment in safe and operable condition.
    • Use proper labeling, dilution, and handling of all chemicals.
    • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
    • Report safety hazards, repair needs, or areas requiring vendor services.
    • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and toiletry items.
    • Purchase cleaning materials as necessary following company procedures.
    • Shampoo carpets and sanitize surfaces using appropriate tools and machinery.
    • Maintain professionalism with internal staff, contractors, and visitors.
    • Support cross-functional teams when needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support facility operations.

WHAT YOU BRING:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or facility maintenance experience strongly preferred.
    • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to work with diverse teams.
    • Valid driver’s license and active automobile insurance.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.
    • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment—or willingness to learn.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
    • Dependability, professionalism, and strong time-management skills.
    • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
    • Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug testing and any applicable company/FAA Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program that may be required.
    • Must be able to pass required background checks, including a 10-year TSA check if airport access or badging is required.
