Job description:

We are looking for an energetic Dental Assistant to join our team and provide quality care to our pediatric patients. The ideal candidate may have little experience in the dental field, but must be willing to learn and should be comfortable or open to working on young patients. He or she will need to have a friendly personality, knowledge of variety of dental instruments and have excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing patients for treatment, and providing post-treatment care instructions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team of professionals dedicated to providing quality dental care in a beautiful brand new office with new equipment and technology. Spanish speaking applicants are welcome.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for dental treatment.
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments.
  • Take radiographs- must hold an active Maryland Radiation Technologist License
  • Provide patient education about oral hygiene and preventive care.
