Delivery Driver

The pay range for this role is $13.75 to $14.50 per hour.*

Aaron’s Delivery Drivers are an integral part of ensuring positive customer experiences.  This fast-paced, store-based role includes driving, installing, moving, and picking up merchandise, as well as demonstrating how customers can use their products.  You’ll spend time inside and outside the store, support the team with day-to-day operations, and connect with customers in the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Stage, load, and appropriately secure products, and safely operate the company vehicle.
  • Unload, install, and demonstrate merchandise.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing merchandise within the store.
  • Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.

Required Qualifications

 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age for positions within the United States and at least 18 years of age in Canada.
  • Requires a valid state driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR).
  • Must be able to obtain DOT certification, if required for the position’s location.
  • Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.
  • Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience moving household furnishings and appliances.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
