Job description

Job Title: Delivery Agent (Part-Time) 

Reports to: Delivery & Dispatch Supervisor

Location: Kingspointe Office, Orlando (On-site) 

Overview 

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Delivery Agent to join our team in Orlando, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring mobility equipment is delivered, maintained, and ready to meet our customers' needs-whether they're boarding a cruise, staying at a hotel, or attending an event. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and making a positive impact in people's travel experiences, this role is for you. 

What That Actually Involves 

  • Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver and pick up rented mobility equipment at cruise ports, hotels, convention centers, resorts, casinos and private residences.  
  • Plan and follow delivery routes and schedules, adjusting for traffic and last-minute changes
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety and operational procedures without exception. 
  • Load, unload and transport mobility equipment up to 50 lbs. independently 
  • Perform basic troubleshooting, service, and repair of mobility equipment. 
  • Sanitize equipment before and after each delivery. 
  • Ensure that every unit meets safety, functionality, and show-quality standards before it reaches the customer. 
  • Maintain returned equipment in clean, show-quality condition for the next customer. 
  • Provide excellent, friendly service to both internal teams and external customers at every touchpoint. Customer Service is key to success in this role.  
  • Represent Scootaround professionally at customer locations including cruise terminals, hotels and events. 
  • Complete all required delivery, service and pickup paperwork fully and accurately. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using TrackAbout and Global Office. 
  • Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory organization and equipment preparation. 
  • Follow all operational and safety protocols. 

What You Will Need 

  • A valid Driver's License along with a clean driving record 
  • Prior experience as a Delivery Agent preferred 
  • Able to pass a criminal background check (including Motor Vehicle Record Check) and pre-employment drug screening. 
  • 25+ years old
  • Basic computer and Microsoft knowledge 
  • Able to work in hot or humid environment depending on warehouse condition and seasonal conditions 
  • Availability to work Friday through Sunday, with the flexibility for additional days as needed 

Additional Information 

  • Fun, flexible, team-oriented environment 
  • Pay rate: $18 per hour  
  • Part-time schedule: approx. 24 hours per week, Friday- Sunday and additional shifts as required 

Essential Job Functions and Physical Requirements  

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds independently. 
  • Ability to sit, walk, and/or stand for extended periods. 
  • Ability to bend, kneel, squat, crouch, or reach to perform routine or business-related tasks frequently. 

Communication & Collaboration Requirements: 

  • Active participation in meetings is an essential function of this role. The employee must be able to consistently engage in scheduled huddles, meeting and/or team discussions using various platforms or onsite as assigned by your manager 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities with attention to detail and responsiveness. 
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team environment. 

 Onsite Work Requirements: 

  • Must follow all operational and safety procedures including safety and traffic rules without any exception 
  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions and under pressure 
  • Must have valid driver's license and be able to operate company vehicle to deliver and collect equipment safely and efficiently 

 Technology Use: 

  • Ability to operate a computer, phone, and standard office equipment as needed. 
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn digital platforms for communication, documentation, and task management. 

 Attendance and Time Commitment: 

  • Regular attendance is required for the shifts scheduled. 
  • Timely responsiveness and presence during meetings and operational check-ins are expected.
