As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Using communication and computer skills, you will report security-related concerns, support site operations, and represent Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns, hazards, and unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and vendor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
