OVERVIEW

Provides maintenance and environmental service support CCS programming, to include: minor repairs, landscaping, and building and vehicle maintenance. Position may from time to time be stressful and require a high demand of performance. May perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Performs minor repairs and/or troubleshoots issues in CCS facilities, to include performing general repairs; moving furniture or equipment; and performing inspections on key areas, such as roofs, air conditioning units, or appliances; reports escalated concerns to leadership
  • Provides general and emergency environmental services support for program areas as needed
  • Assists with vehicle maintenance, to include inspections, minor repairs, and reporting issues to leadership
  • Completes grounds maintenance and landscaping duties
  • May drive agency vehicle on company business
  • May perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Suitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position and will be considered by the Executive Director of Human Resources.

  • High School Diploma, GED, or experience
  • One year of experience in providing maintenance services
  • Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and reach
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds 20% of the time

REGULATORY

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver license, proof of insurance, and 39-month motor vehicle report
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and FBI National Criminal Records History Report (employer paid)
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen (incudes marijuana, regardless of recreational use laws) (employer paid)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Additional years of directly-related experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, verbal and written
  • Specific skills or certificates in housing repairs - plumbing, dry wall, electric, heating and/or cooling, or other
