Job description

We are seeking a Wholesale Seafood Delivery Driver/Salesman to join our team! You will drive to deliver fresh and frozen seafood to grocery stores and retail markets in the Atlanta and Augusta Georgia area. You will be provided with a per diem for food and hotel accommodations for your overnight stay. Pay starts out at $600 salary before taxes after training period. This route requires you to be able to leave early Sunday morning(12-3 am) driving to and delivering in and around Atlanta GA, once finished Sunday you will stay overnight in Atlanta. You will finish your remaining stops Monday morning and then drive back to Raleigh. New hire must be available to load the truck on Saturday evenings for the first few weeks until they are familiar with how the truck is loaded and types of fish we carry! Any applicant must be able to start very soon! The current driver is able to help with training and familiarizing, and we need someone to start riding with him to train and start learning the route immediately. This job will be starting out as this part time position with the possibility to move in to more hours and routes as things start to pick up. Currently this is a part time only job though, do not apply if you are only looking for full time

  • Must be okay with staying overnight at least one night a week.

Qualifications:

  • No Experience required, we are willing to train the right candidate, however, 1+ years in delivery driving, customer service, and sales are all a plus
  • Must have or get a DOT health card
  • Clean driving record preferred
  • Ability to handle physical workload(Lifting of 50-70 lb boxes)
  • Deadline-oriented
  • Must be dependable every week!
  • Knowledge of Seafood is a major plus
  • CDL License is NOT required but is a plus
