Founded in 1923, Phillip's Flowers operatesย nine award-winning flower shops and is one of Chicago's leading online florists. Phillip's Flowers may be best known locally for its colorful floral shops, busy delivery vehicles, and custom wedding flowers. Still, in an age of giant corporations and mega-mergers, it's nice to know that some small family businesses like Phillip's are blooming, too.

Job Description
  • Operates assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner following all traffic rules

  • Loads customer orders into the delivery van

  • Inspects floral arrangements for damages and reports any issues to the florist

  • Delivers arrangements to recipients

  • Helps unpack floral freight deliveries and organize flowers in the storeroom

  • May assist in floral shops or/and warehouses as neededย ย ย 

  • Keeps the assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outsideย 

  • Utilizes vehicle(s) for company use only

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license

Must be 21 years old

Clean driving record

Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check

One year (1) experience as a driver

Must be able to follow instructions

Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays

Ability to read and speak basic English

Basic computer skills strongly preferred
