Delivery Driver

The pay range for this role is $18.00 to $18.75 per hour.*

Aaronโ€™s Delivery Drivers are an integral part of ensuring positive customer experiences.ย  This fast-paced, store-based role includes driving, installing, moving, and picking up merchandise, as well as demonstrating how customers can use their products.ย  Youโ€™ll spend time inside and outside the store, support the team with day-to-day operations, and connect with customers in the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

ย 

  • Stage, load, and appropriately secure products, and safely operate the company vehicle.
  • Unload, install, and demonstrate merchandise.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing merchandise within the store.
  • Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.

Required Qualifications

ย 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age for positions within the United States and at least 18 years of age in Canada.
  • Requires a valid state driverโ€™s license and compliance with the Companyโ€™s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR).
  • Must be able to obtain DOT certification, if required for the positionโ€™s location.
  • Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.
  • Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience moving household furnishings and appliances.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
