Join the Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery and help deliver our award-winning cheese to local retail locations. If you enjoy driving, working independently, and providing excellent customer service, we'd love to have you join our team. 

For more than 100 years, Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery has been committed to producing exceptional cheese while investing in the success of our employees. Many of our team members have built lifelong careers here, celebrating 10, 20, and even 50 years of service.  


Pay

  • Starting pay of $18.00 per hour
  • Wage increase after successful completion of 120-day probationary period
  • Mileage reimbursement for all business-related travel while using your personal vehicle

Schedule

  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Approximately 12 hours per week
  • Occasional flexibility may be needed based on delivery schedules

Position Summary

The Part-Time Deliver Driver is responsible for safely transporting fresh cheese curds and other business materials between Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery locations. Based out of our Menomonie Retail Store, this position plays an important role in ensuring our customers receive fresh products on time while providing outstanding service and representing the Creamery in a professional manner. 


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pick up fresh cheese curds from the Ellsworth production facility and deliver them to designated retail locations in a timely and professional manner
  • Transport additional items as needed, including product samples, supplies, and other business-related materials
  • Ensure products are handled carefully and delivered in a safe, timely, and professional manner
  • Maintain communication with store management regarding delivery schedules and any delays or issues
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies
  • Assist with loading and unloading products and supplies as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required

  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with company insurance requirements
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule when pickup or delivery times vary
  • Dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
  • Ability to lift and carry delivery items as required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not required


Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday
  • Ability to enter and exit a vehicle frequently during deliveries
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions while making deliveries


Work Environment

This position is based out of the Menomonie Retail Store and requires regular travel to and from Ellsworth and other designated delivery locations. The position involves working independently, operating a vehicle for extended periods, and working in varying weather and road conditions.
