Hahn Ace Hardware is looking for a dependable, customer-focused part-time Delivery Driver / Assembly Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, working with their hands, and helping customers with deliveries and product setup.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for delivering merchandise to customers safely and professionally, while also assisting with assembly of products such as grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, and other seasonal merchandise. This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, driving, and light mechanical assembly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver merchandise to homes and businesses in a safe and timely manner
  • Load, secure, and unload products carefully
  • Assemble grills, lawn mowers, patio furniture, wheelbarrows, and other products
  • Review products before delivery to ensure quality and completeness
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and in-store interactions
  • Assist customers with carry-outs and loading merchandise
  • Help maintain a clean and organized backroom, delivery area, and sales floor
  • Support store operations as needed during slower delivery periods

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs with assistance when needed
  • Basic mechanical or assembly skills preferred
  • Friendly, professional, and dependable
  • Strong time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay productive
