Job description

We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Dealer Trade Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering new or used vehicles between various dealerships, ensuring safe and timely transportation.
Dealer Trade Driver Compensation and Benefits:
Dealer Trade Driver Competitive Salary: $18.50 per hour
Generous Paid Time Off (PTO):We prioritize work-life balance, offering industry-leading PTO. New full-time employees accrue 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time.
Comprehensive Benefits Package: Hannah Motor Company provides extensive health benefits starting the first month after 60 days of employment. Options include medical, dental, vision, Health Savings and Flexible Spending accounts, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability, alongside a robust 401(k) plan for retirement planning.
Paid Holidays: Hannah Motor Company offers at least 5paid holidays per year to the Dealer Trade Driver subject to completion of the introductory period and other eligibility requirements as per company policy.
Dealer Trade Driver Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends.

  • Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices.

  • Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.

  • Refuses or records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt.

  • Communicates any issues with sales managers of purchasing store.

  • Picks up vehicles from and delivers vehicles to customers as directed by management.

  • Ability to follow OSHA and/or DOT guidelines

  • Ability to secure cars to trailer for transport

Dealer Trade Driver Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills (including listening and speaking).

  • Ability to read, speak and understand English.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to work alone, self-motivate and manage one's own time.

  • Physical ability to use computer hardware/software.

  • Ability to drive a vehicle, including manual transmission.

  • Sense of spacial orientation.

  • Valid Driver's License

  • DOT approved or ability to obtain
