Janitorial Day Porter (Part-Time)
Job Details
  • Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour
  • Job Type: Part-Time
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM (20 hours/week)
  • Location: Cameron Hill Circle, Chattanooga, TN 37421

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Day Porter to join our facility maintenance team at our Cameron Hill Circle location in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our facility. This position is ideal for someone looking for stable, consistent part-time afternoon/evening hours.
Key Responsibilities
  • Restock restrooms with necessary soap, paper products, and supplies.
  • Receive, organize, and put away janitorial inventory and supplies.
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Restroom sanitation and upkeep throughout the shift.
  • Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Complete additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience required.
  • Screenings: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the work location.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to repetitively lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Continuous standing, walking, bending, stooping, and stretching throughout the shift.
