Get crEATtive...at Indiana University South Bend!

Creative Dining Services at Indiana University South Bend is looking for a part-time DAY SHIFT Cashier.

Starting pay will be $16-18.00/hour.

This position will be responsible for helping to set up and maintain an organized, well-stocked and clean service and seating area, as well as operating the register to accurately process transactions of cash, check, credit or student meal cards in payment. The Cashier will greet guests as they enter or exit the retail area and assist in other front-of-house duties in the student dining areas.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Some food service experience is a plus
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) use by guests who typically visit the work location
  • Knowledge and ability to operate cash register and various payment forms
