Function/Duties of PositionUnder direct supervision, primarily performs basic research or lab activities similar to a Research Assistant 1 or Lab Aide*.
Primary duties include:
Rising Junior or Senior
Completed coursework in environmental science or environmental studies (incl. chemistry, biology, earth science, oceanography, etc.)
Knowledge of coastal ecology
Completion of written research projects
Knowledge of literature review process
Hybrid position, with remote work and on-site work at OHSU on Marquam Hill in the Hatfield Research Center. Work will involve using a computer to conduct research. Desk will be situated in a laboratory, but the student will not be required to do bench work.
