As the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a strategic role in shaping the future of Commence by sourcing and securing the best talent available, specifically in technology, project management and health information. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle; helping to build a strong employer brand; and attracting high-performing, experienced candidates using multiple sources through advanced and targeted sourcing strategies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills significant experience sourcing technical, cleared, and hard to fill roles, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and the expertise to devise sourcing strategies for high priority, specialized talent. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments and the ability to operate independently while advising hiring managers on market conditions and hiring strategy.


Requirements

  • Create an extraordinary candidate experience for every single candidate regardless of hiring status.
  • Leads full-cycle recruiting for complex, technical, cleared or high-impact roles with autonomy.
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies that support highly specialized roles leveraging advanced sourcing tools and techniques.
  • Builds long-term pipelines for recurring or critical roles.
  • Serve as a consultative partner to hiring manager by providing guidance on talent availability, market trends, and hiring strategy
  • Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals.
  • Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind.
  • Facilitates alignment between hiring teams on competency expectations, interview structure and selection criteria.
  • Identifies workflow gaps and recommends enhancements to improve speed, quality and consistency.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
  • Contribute to employer branding efforts and represents the organization at high-value recruiting events.
  • Provides data driven insights and competitive intelligence to hiring managers and HR Leadership.
  • Organize and attend various recruitment functions for the organization, including job fairs, open houses, and national conferences to build strong candidate pipelines.
  • Ensures all recruitment and hiring functions comply with federal and state employment laws and are in line with company guidelines and policies.
  • Ensures meticulous data hygiene, reporting accuracy, and pipeline visibility.
  • Leverages metrics to evaluate sourcing effectiveness and inform prioritization
  • Other duties as required.


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience sourcing complex technical roles including software engineers, solution architects, data scientists, and other high-impact roles. 
  • Significant experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a focus on technology, business development, and executive roles 
  • Proficiency with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and problem-solving skills, along with a strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • General knowledge of employment best practices and compliance laws.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) 
  • Experience with advanced sourcing techniques and applicants tracking systems


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting diverse positions in the government contracting space inclusive of full-time, part-time, key personnel and 1099 candidates.
  • Experience recruiting for cleared talent
