Job description

Job Summary
The Part-Time Admissions Processor and CRM Assistant supports Atlanta Metropolitan State College's Office of Recruitment and Admissions by assisting with both application processing and outreach efforts. This role provides administrative support for admissions applications, student record management, and frontline customer service while also participating in limited recruitment and engagement activities. The position works under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions and collaborates with full-time staff to ensure prospective students receive accurate information and a positive admissions experience.
Responsibilities
  • Process undergraduate applications, including downloading and reviewing supporting documentation (transcripts, residency forms, fee payments, etc.).
  • Enter and update applicant data in Element 451 and other admissions systems while maintaining confidentiality (FERPA, HIPAA).
  • Download official transcripts from third-party sites and upload them into Banner Document Management System
  • Monitor application status, track incomplete applications, and follow up with applicants to obtain missing documents.
  • Respond to general inquiries from prospective students and parents regarding admissions processes, application status, deadlines, and basic financial aid information via phone, email, and in person.
  • Check and manage the Admissions email account , responding to inquiries and routing messages to appropriate staff when necessary.
  • Provide basic support during recruitment events, campus tours, and information sessions (occasional evenings/weekends may be required).
  • Enter and update applicant data into the admissions system; maintain accurate and confidential student records
  • Assist in tracking incomplete applications and communicating with applicants to obtain missing documents
