Job description

COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS
Works closely with all departments necessary to ensure that the processes, programs, services are accomplished in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with CHG policies, procedures and in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations including Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and/or Medicare Part C and D, Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC).
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Respond to calls from passengers according to the protocols established by Community Health Group.
  • Receive and follow members locations through the software, and follow the route as given.
  • Ensure timely arrival at the members destinations, and inquire into further destinations.
  • Greet members when they embark into the vehicle.
  • Confirm members identity by using their name to establish familiarity.
  • Ensure that safe routes are used to reach desired destinations.
  • Provide door-to-door concierge services.
  • Work with the software to ensure the truncation of rides, at the end of each ride, according to the specifics of established protocols.
  • Reroute passages to destinations in cases of high traffic, or road diversions, due to construction work.
  • Perform both preventative and regular maintenance on cars ensuring that they remain in good working order.
  • Maintain a neat and professional approach at all times.

EDUCATION
  • To be considered for the position of a RideShare driver, you have to possess a high school diploma or a GED equivalent.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
  • Although no formal education is required, one does need to possess the knowledge of using and working with technology such as the GPS, and the company software that you will be required to use to communicate and handle transactions.
  • An exceptional ability to get along with members, and provide the best in services will be required from you.
  • You will need to possess a valid drivers license along with a clean driving record.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of (up to 100%) sitting while performing data entry and talking on telephone
  • Periodic (up to 25%) standing and walking
  • Occasional lifting (up to 25 lb.)
  • May be required to work evenings and/or weekends.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
In addition, eligible individuals must meet the following requirements:
  • Must have car insurance;
  • Must own vehicle; and
  • Vehicle must pass mechanical inspection.
