Work Schedule: Monday-Friday (Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-4:30pm) and (Friday 10:00am-2:30pm)

Job Summary
The Medical Records Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The receptionist facilitates communication between patients, staff, and providers while maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering exceptional customer service.
Essential Functions
  • Answers incoming calls, directs calls to appropriate departments, and takes messages as needed
  • Assists patients with completing required paperwork and obtains necessary signatures
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Maintains a clean and organized reception area
  • Performs general clerical duties including faxing, scanning, and data entry
