Job description

  • Coordinates, prepares, and/or facilitates local trainings, workshops, meetings, or conferences for early care individuals, FFN, and stakeholders. This includes coordinating all the pieces of program delivery: including but not limited to, conducting outreach efforts, supervising part-time support staff, buying all items needed for delivery, managing childcare providers, etc.
  • Creates educational materials, activities, and series curriculum, improves lessons and activities to better meet the intended audience.
  • Develops, compiles, and distributes communications and promotional literature. This includes creating outreach material and social media/newspaper postings.
  • Collaborates with local community partners on local early childhood and health/safety concerns by attending meetings and events in the community, provides community presentations on the importance of FFN education and serves as a community resource to other local stakeholders serving young children as well as early care and education programs. Uses these collaborations as modes to recruit FFN participants.
  • Creates, distributes, and manages surveys and evaluation data. This includes ongoing storage and data entry as well as compiling and creating monthly/quarterly/annual reports.

  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a multifaceted population, especially our tribal nations.
  • Skills in creating and delivering educational materials.

  • Knowledge of the San Carlos Apache Tribe, as well as surrounding areas.
