What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of data center buildings, perimeter areas, access points, parking areas, and critical infrastructure locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
  • Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vendors in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while supporting a professional, service-oriented environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
